HPS 4500 - Physiological Basis of Training and Performance2 Class Hours 2 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: A grade of “C” or better in HPS 2100, BIOL 2222, and HPS 2100,, a 2.75 KSU adjusted GPA, and program admission or permission of the instructor.Corequisite: HPS 4300. A study of the physiological basis of training and factors limiting human performance. Includes topics such as neuromuscular function, hormonal control, environmental conditions, ergogenic aids, and the evaluation and training for performance.
