HPS 3500 - Foundations of Recreation and Leisure3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: HPS 2200; admission to the program or instructor’s consent. A foundation for the study of recreation and leisure and the organizations that deliver recreational services. To include an overview of the philosophical, historical, social, cultural, and political factors which influence recreation and leisure. The course will also emphasize the role of the professional in the delivery of recreational services.
