HIST 4412 - The Early Republic3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: HIST 2112. This course will explore the history of the United States from 1787-1824. Topics and issues covered will include the creation of the Constitution, the formation of the first party system, the growth and development of the federal government, the young republic’s foreign policy, the War of 1812, the Market Revolution, the Era of Good Feelings, and the development of a uniquely American culture. Social, economic, political, and military aspects of the American experience will be addressed.
