BTEC 3301 - Introduction to Biotechnology3 Class Hours 3 Laboratory Hours 4 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Grade of “C” or better in BIOL 3300. This course introduces students to the concepts, methods and equipments currently being used in the field of biotechnology including areas of food biotechnology, genetics, diagnostics, gene therapy and forensics. Students gain practical, hands-on experience with a range of commonly used techniques in biotechnology.
