While all of the classes offered in this certificate program are on the undergraduate level, you will obtain the required prerequisite courses for the Coles College MBA Accounting Concentration. You will also gain an understanding of advanced accounting methodologies, financial reporting, auditing and taxation strategies. This certificate program not only equips you with theoretical knowledge but also hones your practical skills, enabling you to apply your learning to real-world scenarios and industry challenges.

Admissions, Enrollment, and Graduation Criteria

Admissions Criteria

Admission to this program is open to all students who meet Kennesaw State University’s general admission standards. Visit the Admissions  section of the Catalog for more details.

Enrollment Criteria

Students will need to complete the following courses or modules as prerequisites to the certificate: 

ACCT 2101  and ACCT 2102 ; Or MBA Financial Accounting D2L Module and MBA Managerial Accounting D2L Module

Graduation Criteria

Each student is expected to meet the requirements outlined in Academic Policy 5.0 PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS & GRADUATION .
