Program Description
The Certificate in Cybersecurity is designed for students with an interest in the security of computer networks and systems and its application in the expanding field of technology. The certificate program emphasizes the skills and knowledge necessary to protect and inspect systems and to detect and react to threats to the security of information in those systems.
Program Student Learning Outcomes
Students who successfuly complete this program will be able to:
- Communicate to technical and non-technical groups the key issues associated with protecting information assets.
- Evaluate levels of cybersecurity protection and recommend improvements.
- Examine the technologies used in network cybersecurity.
- Describe cybersecurity challenges of client computer system technology.
- Develop managerial plans to protect the organization’s information assets.
