Program Description
The Religious Studies Minor program consists of fifteen (15) credit hours (five courses) of undergraduate study across traditional disciplines. A minimum of six (6) hours in the minor must be taken in residence at Kennesaw State University.
Program Student Learning Outcomes
Students who successfully complete this program will be able to:
- Identify and contextualize the theoretical and historical foundations, tenets, values, and practices of major religious traditions and the study of religion in today’s global society.
- Apply interdisciplinary methods and critical thinking skills to the study of religion.
- Analyze the diversity within and between religious traditions and their lived expressions.
- Synthesize and assess the audience, intent, value, and context of informational sources and the multiple perspectives they provide.
This program is a part of the Norman J. Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences .

Enrollment Criteria
This program does not have specific enrollment criteria; however, students are expected to meet the requirements of Academic Policy 4.0 ACADEMIC STANDING, DISMISSAL, & REINSTATEMENT .
Graduation Criteria
Each student is expected to meet the requirements outlined in Academic Policy 5.0 PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS & GRADUATION .
