Program Description

The minor in German Studies is a valuable complement to the academic portfolio of a student pursuing any major, who wishes to add an international dimension to their academic and professional profile. When you supplement your degree with a German Studies minor, you are increasing your professional marketability with a great number of international and domestic employers who have connections to or value German-speaking cultures. As a student in the German Studies minor, you have access to grant-supported study and work abroad experiences and diverse extracurricular offerings in the KSU German Studies program.

The minor in German Studies requires 15 hours of GRMN course work at the level of 2001 or above. Advanced speakers should consult with the German Studies Program Coordinator about testing options available in the Department of World Languages and Cultures.
