Program Description
The dance minor is designed for students who wish to continue their dance training while pursuing another major field of study offered at Kennesaw State University. Of the 15 credit hours required for the dance minor, 9 must be taken at the upper-division level.
Program Student Learning Outcomes
Students who successfully complete this program will be able to:
- Articulate increasing understandings of how dance practices exist within social, cultural, and historical contexts.
- Demonstrate technical proficiency and performance skills in a variety of dance styles.
- Demonstrate artistic and/or scholarly engagement in the art form of dance.
