Business Law Minor

Program Description
The Business Law (BLAW) Minor prepares students for living and working with the law. It helps students understand legal issues related to business, and addresses ethical issues arising in business internal and external relationships. Completing the BLAW Minor will benefit students interested in law school.
Program Student Learning Outcomes
Students who successfully complete this program will be able to:
- Understand legal principles and government statutes relevant to business.
- Apply legal reasoning to analyze business problems.
- Assess the ethical implications of business decisions made int he legal environment.
- Critically evaluate and recognize legal issues in business such as employee-employer relationships, contracts, sales, business organizations, franchises, negotiation, property, and international laws.
- Communicate legal concepts effectively in written and oral form.

Admissions, Enrollment, and Graduation Criteria
Admissions Criteria
Admission to this program is open to all students who meet Kennesaw State University’s general admission standards. Visit the Admissions section of the Catalog for more details.
Enrollment Criteria
Students completing a Business Law Minor must earn a grade of “C” or higher in all BLAW courses.
Graduation Criteria
Each student is expected to meet the requirements outlined in Academic Policy 5.0 PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS & GRADUATION .
