The minor in Chinese Studies consists of 15 credit hours of Chinese coursework calculated in one of the following manners. A minimum of six (6) hours in the minor must be taken in residence at Kennesaw State University.

Required (15 credit hours)

For students required to take Foreign Language 2002 as part of Lower Division Area F:

CHNS 3200 - Critical Reading and Applied Writing
CHNS 3302 - Practical Conversation
CHNS 3303 - Grammar and Composition
FL 3309 - Survey of Chinese Literature and Culture
any FL 2002 level course

For students not required to take Foreign Language 2002 as part of Lower Division Area F:

CHNS 2002 - Intermediate Chinese Language and Culture II
CHNS 3200 - Critical Reading and Applied Writing
CHNS 3302 - Practical Conversation
CHNS 3303 - Grammar and Composition
