STVW 6400: Script Analysis

This course teaches script analysis, where students evaluate feature film, television, and short film scripts based on concept, character, structure, plot, dialogue, and formatting. Students will write “coverage,” a tool used by production companies to assess screenplays. Expect to read and cover 1-3 scripts weekly. This skill is essential for aspiring freelance script readers, with potential recommendations for roles upon course completion.
