ENGR 8310: Biomedical and Health Systems Modeling 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Admission to the Interdisciplinary Engineering, Ph.D. program The course introduces the student to a representative set of models used to study biological, medical, and health systems phenomena. Topics covered may include computational fluid dynamics (CFD), finite element analysis (FEA), fluid-structure interaction (FSI) modeling, statistical regression, and Monte Carlo simulation.
