SWE 7803: Master’s Thesis

3 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: GPA 3.0 or above; completed all transition courses (if any were assigned at the admission evaluation process), nine credit hours in the MS SWE program and permission of program coordinator.
The thesis is designed for students wanting a research focus to their degree. The student works independently under the supervision of a designated SWE graduate faculty member on a thesis of substance in software engineering. The student will generate a formal written thesis and give a final defense of the thesis.

Note: This course may be repeated, but only 6 credit hours may be applied toward the degree.
