TPS 4243: Audition Techniques 3 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: TPS 2203
This course prepares students for the major forms of auditions they will encounter in the field of acting.
Course Learning Outcomes
Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:
- Demonstrate professional protocol in varied theatrical production and performance contexts.
- Engage in productive collaboration in scholarly and creative practice.
- Effectively communicate about scholarly and creative practice through speaking, writing, and visual communication.
- Practice critical thinking to effectively analyze and critique performances in cultural and historical context.
- Create original theatrical production and performance projects.
- Have a stronger and more confident relationship to their unique artistic presence .
- Play actions and objectives in a scene through the experience of truly connecting and listening to another actor.
