COMM 1100: Human Communication 3 Credit Hours
A broad approach to oral communication skills including intrapersonal, interpersonal, small group, and public speaking.
Course Learning Outcomes Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:
- Assess their own communication skills in interpersonal, professional, and mediated relationships and settings.
- Develop and practice strategies for improvement in various workplace settings such as team building, leadership, and task management.
- Articulate characteristics of mediated and non-mediated messages by using critical thinking to determine the influences of these messages on senders and receivers.
