CHIN 3303: Practical Grammar

3 Credit Hours

Prerequisite: CHIN 2002 
This course is a general review of grammar and composition and other writing activities, such as summaries, correspondence, descriptions, narration, literary analysis, and other rhetorical and culturally appropriate forms.


Notes: This course will be taught in Chinese.

Course Learning Outcomes
Students who successfully complete this course will be able to: 

  1. Gain a comprehensive knowledge of grammar.
  2. Master various sentence patterns and usages through practice.
  3. Practice some main types of writing such as expository, descriptive, and narrative.
