ASMT - 205 Data Informed ImprovementData Informed Improvement micro-credential earners have a functional understanding of definitions of improvement science, continuous improvement, learning improvement, the Learning Improvement Process, and academic innovation. This Data Informed Improvement micro-credential focuses on the importance of using assessment results to improve student learning. The targeted audience for this micro-credential is faculty, program coordinators, department chairs, and associate deans for assessment. Earning Criteria: Participants complete quizzes, discussions, and attend a synchronous session to demonstrate skills in educational assessment and the continuous improvement process. If learners receive less than 80% on the quiz, they are prompted to retake the quiz.
Participants demonstrate the ability to use data for continuous improvement by gathering data on an assignment or test and work through the learning improvement process. In addition, the earner identifies specific strategies for implementation for their own program or course using theories and skills gained from the module. The assignment is assessed for completeness.
By finishing these items, learners are rewarded a level I badge and are better prepared to use informed data of course or program assessments.
