BUSA - 101 Business Research Preparation

The ‘Business Research Preparation’ micro-credential recognizes skill development at the PhD Summer Bootcamp, an 8 week optional program designed to keep business PhD students writing during the first summer of their PhD program. This program guides students through the key processes of doing research with set weekly goals to accomplish. Learners share progress with other KSU PhD students both for outside accountability and to build community.

• Submit a research proposal including the following components:

1. Identification of a research problem
2. Research question formulation
3. Creation of a research design
4. Submission of a completed research proposal

• Topic research

• Literature reviews

• Research proposals
