EEOB - 101 Introduction to R Statistical Software for Biologists  The ‘Introduction to R Statistical Software for Biologists’ micro-credential confirms learners are introduced to the structure, syntax, and programming skills associated with the R statistical software language. Students will gain familiarity and basic knowledge in data upload, data manipulation, and statistical analysis using R programming language and the integrative development environment, R Studio. Students who earn this badge will be able to use datasets for upload in R, refer to the column and row information in a dataset to confirm correct programming syntax, and execute programming commands in R.
Upon completion of this micro-credential, learners will be able to:
- Format files for upload into R Software using base R and/or R Studio
- Upload datasets into R and/or R Studio
- Execute basic programming commands using R statistical software.
Earning Criteria: To earn this micro-credential, learners must:
- Submit a compilation of all programming inputs as a single program script with annotations and a document containing screenshots of all outputs organized chronologically.
