The ‘CETL Graduate Student Teaching Orientation’ souvenir is awarded to graduate students, graduate student teachers, and faculty or staff supporting graduate student teaching. The orientation includes four teaching and learning interactive webinars. These sessions introduce evidence-based pedagogy and practices to support and improve graduate student teaching. Participants will identify effective active-learning strategies, activities, and assessments that engage all students and ensure a warm classroom environment.

Earning Criteria:
To earn this micro-credential, learners must:

Attend the Graduate Student Teaching Orientation (GSTO), offered in August of each year.
Participate in at least three of the four content sessions throughout the day.
