DGA - 302 SDG Community Service & OutreachThe Distinguished Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Ambassador program was developed for KSU undergraduate and graduate students, to foster youth leadership and give students the opportunity to assist in the promotion of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the University community and beyond. Through this program, students gain an understanding and experience working with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, learning how to successfully implement the goals in their communities, and creating dynamic SDG-focused action plans to address the needs of their fellow students, staff, and faculty.
This Community Service & Outreach Level II Badge is a component of the Digital Certificate in SDG and specifically targets skills in civic engagement. On completion of the program, students will demonstrate community engagement by completing 16 hours of community service. Earning Criteria: Learners demonstrate civic engagement by successfully completing 16 hours of community service, on campus in the local area, in total during the program and composing a detailed reflection on the community work they did.
