DGE - 201 SDG Action Plan Development The Distinguished Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Ambassador program was developed for KSU undergraduate and graduate students, to foster youth leadership and give students the opportunity to assist in the promotion of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the University community and beyond. Through this program, students gain an understanding and experience working with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, learning how to successfully implement the goals in their communities, and creating dynamic SDG-focused action plans to address the needs of their fellow students, staff, and faculty.
This Action Plan Development Level II Badge is a component of the Digital Certificate in SDG and specifically targets skills in sustainable development and project scoping. The Division of Global Affairs partnered with the Department of Student Leadership and Services and worked closely with students to develop campus-focused sustainable development action plans that will be implemented at the university level or in our local communities. Students will apply community development knowledge to develop a targeted action plan in collaboration with other ambassadors. At the completion of the program, the Ambassadors will present and promote their final action plan to the KSU community. Earning Criteria: Learners demonstrate sustainable development and project scoping by developing an action plan with 1-3 other ambassadors over the course of the program. The learners present their final action plan to the community during EQUINOX Week. Skill(s):
