DLI - 103 Using Discussions Effectively in Online Courses

The “Using Discussions Effectively in Online Courses” webinar session aims to demonstrate how instructors can effectively include discussions in their online courses by focusing on experiential learning that can help instructors and students create an online community of inquiry which promotes critical thinking and helps students become active participants in their own learning. 

The target audience is the faculty at KSU, part- and full-time instructors and anyone else who would like to attend.

The objective of the webinar is to showcase how to include Discussions in an online course (asynchronous, synchronous or hybrid modalities), by using pedagogy practices backed by the Community of Inquiry Framework and evidence-based research. 


Earning Criteria: Participants will need to attend the Webinar to earn the Souvenir.
