COM 3326 - Global Media Systems3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: COM 2230. This course explores mass media and culture from a global perspective. Students analyze international communication theories, global communication infrastructure, the global media marketplace, and international communication and the internet. Students also examine specific communication systems, both democratic and authoritarian, and disseminated in a global context. International media products such as film, music, radio, and TV programming, online content, and advertisements are also covered.
