CS 4300 - Cloud Computing3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: A grade of “C” or better in CS 3401 and CS 3530. Cloud Computing uses the Internet as the platform for the development and delivery of computing technologies. Topics discussed in this course include: cloud computing concepts, cloud computing architecture, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). Focus will be put on developing data-intensive applications using MapReduce framework on Cloud.
