CS 3540 - Systems Programming with Linux and ‘C’3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: A grade of “C” or better in CS 2302 or CS 2305. This course presents an introduction to the Linux operating system, command interface, and the ‘C’ programming language. Students will learn how to install, startup, shutdown, and control the Linux operating system. Students will learn to write ‘C’ programs, including simple device drivers and network-aware threaded ‘C’ code.
