SOCI 3310 - Introduction to Gerontology3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: SOCI 2201 or PSYC 1101. Introduction to the multi-disciplinary field of gerontology which provides an overview of the sociology, psychology, and the physiology of aging. Students will consider research and theories of aging as well as participate in field trip experiences in gerontological settings. A key goal is to develop a more realistic perception of the aging process.
