MGT 4172 - Compensation and Reward Systems3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Business Majors: Sophomore GPA Requirement and MGT 4002 or MGT 4170; Non-business Majors: MGT 4002 or MGT 4170 and permission of the Coles College of Business. Compensation systems and practices that attract, motivate, and retain employees are investigated in this course. Topical areas include wage and hour regulations, job evaluation, pay structure development, incentive systems, merit pay decision making, and strategic benefit systems design.
