FIN 4320 - Fixed Income Securities3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Business Majors: Sophomore GPA Requirement and FIN 3100; Non-business Majors: 60 credit hours including FIN 3100 and permission of the Coles College of Business. This course provides students with knowledge of the fixed-income markets. The course will cover the pricing and risk management of fixed-income securities, and an introduction to fixed-income derivatives. It covers interest rate management, product fundamentals, and portfolio strategies. This course is a valuable preparation for students interested in taking the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) examination.
