EDUC 3308 - Learning, Motivation, and Classroom Management3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Admission to the Teacher Education program. Examines theories, models, and principles of learning, motivation, and classroom management in schools. In level-specific modules, particular emphasis is placed on the application of theoretical principles to early childhood, middle grades, or secondary classroom settings. Addresses learning theories, motivational theories, learning styles and individual differences, and models and strategies for implementing effective systems of time, material, environment and behavior management in diverse classroom settings. Various technological applications, including the World Wide Web, e-mail, and presentation software, will be utilized.
