ECON 4310 - Economic Development in Global Perspective3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Business Majors: Sophomore GPA Requirement; Non-business Majors: 60 credit hours, ECON 2200, and permission of the Coles College of Business. An analysis of key development issues both as they relate to individual countries and to factors linking countries, such as international trade and capital flows. Topics addressed include savings, investment, technology, demographics, human resources, and economic institutions. Investigates these topics for third world countries and those that are more economically advanced.
