ECE 4345 - Preparing the Mathematical Mind of the Young Child3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: ECE 4315. Corequisite: ECE 4355. Research-based materials and teaching/learning strategies are used to present numeration and mathematics to young children. Candidates will learn to present linear counting, the four operations and tables, commulative and squaring operations, binomial addition, and the multiplication of polynomials to young children. Memorization materials are presented with which to review and enhance the recall of known number facts.
