BIOL 4431 - Human Physiology3 Class Hours 3 Laboratory Hours 4 Credit Hours Prerequisite: A grade of “C” or better in BIOL 1108/1108L and PHYS 1111 or PHYS 2211, and a minimum of 12 credit hours of upper-division biology or chemistry courses. This is a course in human systems physiology in which the principle of homeostasis will be used to understand how function is integrated from the cellular to the organismal level. Students will learn the complex interactions within the respiratory, cardiovascular, muscular, and renal systems. Students will utilize critical thinking and quantitative methods in lecture and laboratory settings to explore physiological techniques.
