BIOL 3410 - Cell Biology3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: A grade of “C” or better in BIOL 1108, BIOL 1108L, BIOL 3300, and BIOL 3300L. Modern cell biology is a unifying subject that describes the structure and function of cells in genetic, biochemical, biophysical, developmental and pathophysiological contexts. Students will learn a contemporary view of cell structure and function, including the relationship between membranes, organelles, transporters, and signaling components during the life of a cell, with an emphasis on eukaryotic systems.
