ASTR 3321 - Solar System Astronomy3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: A grade of “C” or better in any core lab science sequence. An introduction to Solar System Astronomy. Topics include planetary motion and its role in the scientific revolution, theories for the origin of the solar system, the history and evolution of the Earth, comparative planetology and the origin of life. This course will emphasize physical principles and conceptual understanding.
