MATH 1113 - Precalculus3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: MATH 0098 if required. Provides students with the foundation in elementary functions and understanding of mathematics needed to succeed in subsequent mathematics and science courses, especially calculus. Topics include polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. In each case, properties, graphs, and applications will be presented. Technology, in the form of graphing calculators and/or computers, will be integrated throughout the course for instruction and study. Required for math/science majors.
