American Humanics (AH) is an academic program with an experience-based approach to preparing students for administrative and executive roles in the growing nonprofit sector. Students must meet criteria for acceptance into the AH certified program (see AH Director). Completion of AH requirements result in students receiving certification from American Humanics, a national collaborative of nonprofit, academic and private partners. American Humanics students acquire an academic and on-the-job education in board/committee development, fundraising and financial management, program planning, evaluation, risk management, nonprofit marketing and human resource and volunteer management.
