Program Description

The primary objective of the Certificate in Production Design is to provide training and education to members of the Industrial Engineering field in the measurement and analysis of work and in the design or improvement of facilities. Students can complete the requirements in 3-4 semesters. These courses may also be applied toward completing a B.S. degree with a major in Industrial Engineering Technology upon acceptance into KSU.

1. Create efficient facilities layout designs 
2. Demonstrate a knowledge of work measurement standards 
3. Design ergonomically efficient working environments 
4. Understand and exercise sound operations management & research
