Program Description

The Software Engineering (SWE) minor is open to all undergraduate students. This minor will help students: differentiate themselves in a competitive job market after graduation and/or prepare for a masters in computing degree (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology).

Non-major students who desire to enroll in upper-level software engineering courses will additionally need the following prerequisites (3 hours): MATH 1113  (can be completed to satisfy Core Areas A or D), CSE 1321  and CSE 1321L .
