Program Description
The Bachelor of Applied Science with a major in Manufacturing Operations has been specifically designed for students who have completed an Associate of Applied Science or Associate of Applied Technology Degree from a Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) or any regionally accredited 2-year institution.
The goal of the partnership between KSU and the TCSG schools is to provide an opportunity for degreed graduates from the technical schools of Georgia, and other regionally accredited technical schools across the country, to complete a Bachelor’s degree in approximately two years as a full-time student. Courses from the degree program will transfer as a block or as individual credit as outlined for each program.
This degree prepares students with upper level study in the areas of project management, statistics, six sigma quality, lean manufacturing, facilities layout, operations management, safety and ethics, behavior science through an industry-driven curriculum encompassing manufacturing processes, quality principles, engineering economy, human resources, and simulation.
Admissions Requirements
Admission to Manufacturing Operations B.A.S. is separate from admission to Kennesaw State University. To be eligible, students must graduate from a technical school with a related AAS or AAT degree.

Each student is expected to meet the Academic Policies Graduation Policies and Procedures outlined in the Academic Policies section of the Catalog.
