ARAB 1001: Elementary Arabic I

1. Show proficiency in using the target language of Arabic, develop familiarity with the target language system, and integrate opportunities to further develop their skills and knowledge.
2. Identify the value and role of literary and cultural texts and use them to interpret the perspectives of the target cultures over time.
3. Apply informational literacy skills by gathering, evaluating, synthesizing, and presenting cultural information.
