ISD 2700: Perspectives on the World of Work 3 Credit Hours
Description: This course will examine trends in the workplace as they pertain to today’s undergraduates. Students will examine how “work” has evolved to become interdisciplinary, regionally and globally interconnected, technology-driven, and collaborative.
Course Learning Outcomes Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:
- Demonstrate the ability to critically examine the changing nature of work.
- Demonstrate the ability to solve problems often encountered in the workplace.
- Identify traits that encourage successful working relationships.
- Describe workplace practices that promote success.
- Use analytical abilities in addressing issues that impact both their student and career success.
