ACCT 9100: Intradisciplinary Topics in Business Research 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Admission into the PhD in Business Administration program This course is designed to provide doctoral students with an in-depth understanding of advanced business management research theories, methodologies, and applications across various business disciplines. This course will explore the integration of theories and practices with other business domains, including, but not limited to, management, marketing, information systems, accounting, risk & decision analytics, and finance. Students will engage in critical analysis, discussion, and application of interdisciplinary research to address complex challenges.
Course Learning Outcomes Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:
- Understand and apply advanced discipline-specific research methodologies.
- Integrate discipline-specific theories with concepts from other business disciplines.
- Critically analyze and evaluate interdisciplinary research studies.
- Develop and present research proposals that address complex marketing issues.
- Collaborate effectively with peers from different business domains to conduct interdisciplinary research.
