Prerequisite: Prerequisite: Business Majors: ENGL 1101, MATH 1111 or higher, and basic proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); Non-business Majors: ENGL 1101 MATH 1101 or higher, and basic proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.)
Business information systems course designed to: (1) improve communications skills appropriate to the business setting; (2) expand proficiency in the use of business application software; and (3) introduce information technology concepts relevant to doing business in an electronic environment.

Notes: This course assumes a basic proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Free training on those skills is available through KSU Information Technology Services for students currently enrolled in any KSU course.
