HIST 2111: Survey of U.S. History I

A survey of U.S. History to the post-Civil War period. 

Course Learning Outcomes
Students who successfully complete this course will be able to: 

  1. Demonstrate knowledge of the history of the United States and the history of Georgia.
  2. Distinguish between primary and secondary sources.
  3. Analyze and interpret primary and secondary sources.
  4. Identify and describe the significance of major issues, personalities, and trends in U.S. History to 1877.
