EDL 7215: Data-Informed Curriculum and Assessment for Educational Leaders 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Admission to a graduate program in the Department of Educational Leadership or the Ed.S. in Special Education. This course is designed for emerging school leaders to develop practical skills using research and data analysis for school improvement and curricular leadership. Candidates will develop knowledge, skills, and dispositions for leading the development of instructional and assessment practices by bridging theory and practice. The course also covers technological applications as tools to improve student achievement. Candidates will analyze, plan, develop, monitor, and evaluate instructional programs that align vertically and horizontally with state and district curriculum standards and that meet the needs of all students, particularly students with exceptionalities, and students with cultural and linguistic differences.
