SYE 8005: Advanced Systems Engineering 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Admission to the Interdisciplinary Engineering, Ph.D. program This course covers the essential principles, processes, and practices associated with the application of Systems Engineering. The applicability and use of Process Standards will be examined. Emphasis will focus on defining the problem to be solved, establishing the initial system architecture, understanding the role of system life-cycles, requirements development, and verification and validation of the realized system. Note: Students who receive credit for SYE 8005 cannot then enroll in SYE 6005 for credit.
