IPM 7770: International Law & Organization 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Admission to the MSIPM program, or permission of the MSIPM Director. This course examines the system of law governing relations between nation-states, and the roles and functions of international organizations. It explores conventional international law in the areas of diplomacy, territorial questions, and armed conflicts, and may address developing regimes in trade, terrorism, environmental issues, and human rights. In addition, the course examines the structures and functions of some contemporary international organizations and evaluates their performance and contribution.
