ANTH 4411: Bioarchaeology of Greece 3 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: ANTH 1105 This course introduces students to the practice of bioarchaeology in Greece from the early 1900’s through today. Students trace the development of bioarchaeology from its early roots in typology through the paradigm shift of the New Physical Anthropology to modern scientific analyses of human skeletal remains. Case studies and classic anthropological texts are read and discussed.
